Can a cracked bumper be repaired?
In most cases, yes. Plastic welding joins the crack from behind, then we fill, shape and paint the outside so the repair cannot be seen.
What is plastic welding?
It melts and fuses the plastic of the part itself, often with matching filler rod, so the repaired area becomes part of the bumper rather than glued over.
Is it cheaper to repair a bumper than replace it?
Usually, because you avoid the cost of a new part. We tell you if your bumper is too badly damaged to repair.
Can you fix broken headlamp lugs?
Yes. Broken mounting lugs on headlamp units can often be welded, which saves buying a whole new lamp.
Do you repair motorbike fairings?
Yes. Cracked fairings are welded, filled and painted.
